Rabbi Yisrael Rosen's Response to Torat HaMelech

Following up on the Torat HaMelech treatise on whether or not, and when, and if, a Jew may kill a non-Jew and in what circumstances, etc., etc., etc., Rabbi Yisrael Rosen has come out quite forcefully and sarcastically against the book and here is my scan of his piece in this week's Shabbat B'Shabbato weekly publication:

What is the value in his rant when he admits upfront he didn't read the book and is not planning to.
He is condemning the book based on second hand information like Slifkin's book was condemned and the MOG was condemned by rabbis who didn't read it.

Just before my Rav here in Shiloh got up for his Friday night derasha to point out the problems with the book, I showed him it and he admitted it was the first time he had seen it. He then said while he is not capable at this point of refuting or confirming any of the argumentation, the timing was wrong and we don't need to deal with such issues when there are many others more burning.

Reminds me of the Chofetz Chaim's reply to Rav Dushinsky who raised questions about the CC's call to study Kodshim.
