Foxman Is Definitely Not Funny

If the ADL's Abe Foxman is honest about this:

Anti-Defamation League director Abraham Foxman criticized comedian Sacha Baron Cohen this week for making bigoted jokes in his new film. Foxman claimed the wider public does not understand the irony of Baron Cohen’s humor about Jews and other minorities, and warned it could incite racism and anti-Semitism.  “I’m still concerned because [anti-Semitic jokes] reinforce [stereotypes], it doesn’t educate,” Foxman told The Times of Israel. “We have developed all kinds of programs to educate and sensitize, and we haven’t eradicated it. You’re not going to eradicate it by making fun of it.”

Either he has no sense of humor or is playing with liberal fascism
Of course, he has been criticized from the left, but now, he endangers the support from middle-of-the-roaders and even from rightwingers who value in a very genuine sense civil liberties and rights.
After his most recent faux-pas -

The Jewish community's largest "defense" organization, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), has adopted a policy, consistent with the progressive agenda, not to speak up much about the global tsunami of Muslim anti-Semitism, but instead to campaign against "Islamophobia." This while FBI statistics show that hate crimes against Jews in America are five times the number of hate crimes against Muslims.

it seems that there may be something wrong with Foxman, in his thinking, his judgment, his outlook.

And he for sure has no sense of humor besides not being at all funny.
